Co-founders of Hang Fire Southern Kitchen
During a food road-trip through the USA, Samantha Evans and Shauna Guinn fell in love with American BBQ and Louisiana cooking. When they returned home, they launched Hang Fire BBQ, a street food venture that popped up all over the UK at events and festivals.
Fast forward six years and the duo now run a bustling restaurant, Hang Fire Southern Kitchen, in Barry, Wales. They have scooped a multitude of industry awards including Observer Food Monthly’s Best Restaurant award (2018-19) and BBC Radio 4’s Food & Farming “Best Street Food” award. They are the first British women to have created a best-selling BBQ cookbook.
