To help teachers bring the history and provenance of maple syrup to life in the classroom, Maple from Canada created a suite of school resources.
The “Introducing Food Provenance” teacher booklet takes students on a journey through the Canadian forest as they learn how maple is made, its role in national culture and discover the four types of maple syrup. The booklet includes a lesson plan and simple recipes to try. It is perfect for food technology classes for pupils aged 14 and over.
