KITCHEN ADVENTURES with Cook School

Learning to love food and cooking

Discover food with Maple

We believe it’s important to inspire children from an early age to be curious about food, to help them to understand food and to teach them how to cook.

The eating habits that we form as children follow us into our adult lives and help us to shape our decision-making when it comes to the food we enjoy. Developing a diverse diet full of nutritious foods from a young age is key. This is why we’ve developed a series of fun workbooks for children from 3-11 years old. Inside each booklet are two recipes using pure, Canadian maple syrup that your child can make independently for the family to eat, some fun activities and links to more information and videos.

Cook School

About Cook School

We’ve partnered with Cook School, a nationwide, not-for-profit organisation helping children to understand food & teaching children to cook to create these educational workbooks.

With a mission of  getting children excited about food and teaching them to cook, Cook School was  created by award-winning children’s cookbook author Amanda Grant.

Cook School classes are led by passionate home and school cooks and chefs, who have pulled together some of their most popular recipes and activities into these workbooks, giving children the opportunity to take on Cook School learning virtually!

As part of the workbooks children can even receive a personalised certificate of completion for parents to hang in the kitchen or on the fridge, just send photos of finished recipes from the relevant booklets – along with a completed checklist – and Cook School will email over a completion certificate!
