 - 1 tbsp pure maple syrup (preferably amber syrup for its rich taste)
 - 1 shot almond-flavoured liqueur (optional)
 - 2 scoops vanilla ice cream
 - nutmeg, freshly grated or ground
 
Method

- Place the shot of espresso and maple syrup into a separate glass.
 - Add almond-flavoured liqueur if using.
