Salted Maple Shaken Espresso with Vanilla Cold Foam

Ingredients

  • 2 espresso shot 
  • milk of choice
  • pure Canadian maple syrup to taste
  • ice

For the cold foam

  • 2 tbsp double cream 
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract

Method

To make the cold foam:

  1. Add double cream and vanilla extract to a glass.
  2. Whisk with a milk frother until a foam starts to appear at the top.

To make the salted maple shaken espresso:

  1. Add pure Canadian maple syrup to the bottom of a glass (to taste) and a sprinkle of sea salt.
  2. Brew 2 shots of espresso over the maple syrup.
  3. Add ice to the glass.
  4. Add your milk of choice until the glass is almost full.
  5. Top with vanilla cold foam.
  6. Stir and enjoy!
