Maple Espresso Martini

  • 45ml vodka
  • 40ml pure maple syrup (preferably dark syrup for its robust flavour)
  • 30ml espresso, cooled
  • 15ml Kahlúa coffee liqueur
  • 3 coffee beans, for decoration


  1. Place martini glass in the fridge to chill.
  2. Prepare a shot of freshly brewed espresso coffee.
  3. Place the maple syrup, vodka, coffee liqueur and espresso in a cocktail shaker with a handful of ice.
  4. Shake vigorously until the outside of the cocktail shaker feels ice cold, then strain into the chilled martini glass.
  5. Garnish with coffee beans and serve immediately.
