- 230ml pure maple syrup
- 125ml English mustard
- 1 tbsp mustard seed
- ¼ tsp pepper
- Boil the maple syrup for 6 minutes until the bubbles increase in size.
- Remove and allow to cool for 3 minutes.
- Whisk in the English mustard, mustard seed and pepper.
- Once made, keep in fridge.
Maple mustard can be used in lots of different dishes to add flavour to your cooking.
Alternatively, it is a great dinner table condiment – and is perfect for crispy chips alongside a steak.
