Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 °C (400 °F), with rack in middle position.
  2. Form a ball with the dough, then roll out with a rolling pin and arrange in a pizza pan or simple cooking sheet.
  3. Pour maple syrup on pizza, sprinkle with chocolate shavings and bake 20 minutes.
  4. Once pizza is cooked, leave to cool for 5 minutes.
  5. Decorate with sliced fruit, marshmallows or nuts (optional).

  • 300g pizza or croissant dough, homemade or store-bought
  • 125ml golden, delicate-tasting maple syrup
  • 250g 70% cacao dark chocolate, chopped
